Just stop thinking about it

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” ~ Carl Rogers

Some of our problems require action. Weight loss requires us to change how we eat. Getting out of debt requires us to change how we spend money. Television news showcases nightly injustices which require our action.

But some of our problems require no action at all. Some problems are just perceived problems, and hence, not really problems. All we need to do is stop thinking.

Not only can we get better at shutting down the thinking, we can also get better at figuring out which sort of problem we’re dealing with.
